Hello, my name is

I’m an intuitive eating, diet rebelling, registered dietitian living in New York City. I listen to my body and feed my inner cravings. I eat kale and have my cake (and burger) too.

I started studying nutrition science at Florida State University and finished with my Masters in Dietetics at New York University. I completed my dietetic internship with New York University.

My entire life revolves around food.

I experience the power of nutrition everyday working as a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist, providing medical nutrition therapy to people living with chronic diseases at God’s Love We Deliver.

One of my greatest joys in life is traveling. I travel to discover different food cultures. I had the luxury of traveling to Italy for a summer to study their exquisite cuisine. The experience led me to a strong interest in local, sustainable foods. A year later I was hired by GrowNYC, the largest farmers market network in NYC, to manage one of their greenmarkets for a 6 month season. It was there that I was able to fully embrace and treasure the unique relationship between a community, local foods, and the people who made it.

It goes without saying nutrition and physical activity go hand in hand. Exercise is an important part of my daily grind. I'm constantly switching up my weekly workout routine to include cycle, yoga, high intensity interval training, and rowing. I’m also an avid runner, running races from 5Ks to half marathons and training for the NYC Marathon 2018.

My vision for this platform is to share all of that knowledge I’ve learned and experienced about what a {sustainable} healthy lifestyle is all about. Forget the diets, forget your “cheat meals”, forget all of the nonsense that’s been constantly repeated to you about how you should eat.

No diet is “one size fits all.”

My mission is to uncomplicate eating habits. It’s to empower my readers with the knowledge to live a real, stress-free, healthy life by challenging society’s rules on dieting.
